The E3 is both the image quality leader of Fluoresceine angiography and the workhorse of a busy retinal imaging suite. The E3 is the successor to the CFA which changed retinal photography forever. Prior to the CFA, no digital solution to retinal photography could match the quality of film. With the introduction of MegaVision’s CFA, film’s image quality leadership was unequivocally supplanted. Constant improvements and continued refinements make the E3 today as state-of-the-art as it was when it was introduced 5 years ago. It was then, and continues to be today, the right choice for uncompromising quality and long, trouble-free service.
With a full frame 35mm format, the E3 is a perfect match to the 35 mm film port of both legacy and new mydriatic fundus cameras. With a data rate of 10 mpixels/second, an image is transferred from the E3 to a host computer in well under 1 second.
The E3 is available in both color and monochrome. Very high S/N and special rendering software enable high quality FA image captures from color sensors. For the very best FA image quality at lower light levels, the monochrome back may be used
