E2-i

The E2-i is a 4 megabytes back which, because it includes an integrated electronic shutter and live focus, can be a complete camera system with the simple addition of a lens.  The E2-i includes a 15mm square, 2048 X 2048 pixel array with 7.4 micron pixels. The E2-i is available in range of mechanical configurations with different lens options.   It is available in either monochrome or color.

The E2-i is ideal for configuration as a macro camera.  3D macro work, such as in jewelry, forensics and  biological photography  often cannot take advantage of large pixel arrays because of the depth-of-field limitations imposed by the optics.   A  camera with a smaller sensor such as that in the E2-i satisfies the  need for a dedicated macro camera at an affordable price.

Live focus and electronic shuttering enable capturing images that are faithful to those composed and focused; no camera motion will disturb focus or composition.

Lens adapters for both C-mount and Nikon F-mount are available.  Bellow extensions and associated Macro system accessories are available from several companies with whom MegaVision partners to enable purchase of complete macro systems.
